Lawrence (Larry) A. Soler is a partner at Convergency, a firm that provides advocacy and policy consulting to companies and organizations.
Prior to founding Convergency, Larry was founding CEO of the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), an organization that was formed in conjunction with Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move program to fight childhood obesity. Earlier in his career, Larry worked at Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for 13 years, where he built the organization's legislative and grassroots program into one recognized by DC insiders as one of the nation's top patient advocacy organization. Larry ultimately served as JDRF's chief operating officer.
Larry received a BA with honors from Clark University and his JD from George Washington University. He is a member of the Maryland and Washington, D.C. bar associations. He has served on the boards of the JDRF and NIH Cures Acceleration Network.
